Kiah and myself decided to make our tester video to Candy by Cameo. We chose this song because it brought back fond memories of the 23nd March 2013 (Kiah's birthday party)
WHAT WENT WELL
- The transitions used during the video were good because they were in sync with the choreography during the video.
- The tinting used to create the shadow effect looked good, I think it went well with the genre and feel of the song.
- Choreography I thought was effective for the style of song, we learnt the choreography through the youtube tutorial by Duchess Danzie.
WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED
- The location variation could have been better, we did not make use of the different locations the second time we shot the footage.
- Close up and mid shots should have been used in order to have seen us miming and to get some expressions
- We were not very organised during the shooting of the footage and lost the footage so had to reshoot our piece in ten minutes. If we had more time we would have gained more from this project.
